Hi there — I’m Dr. Lisa Matagrano, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’ve been caring for furry friends since earning my DVM from Ross University in 2006, but my love for animals started long before that. Growing up in New Jersey, I was the kid who wanted to help every animal I met. At 14, I showed my dog in AKC obedience competitions and even raised a puppy for The Seeing Eye. Those early experiences shaped how I care for pets today—with patience, understanding, and heart.
At Westmonte Animal Clinic, I believe veterinary care should never be one-size-fits-all. Every pet is different, and so is every family. That’s why I take the time to really get to know you and your pet—not just their symptoms, but their routines, personalities, and quirks. It’s all part of our philosophy: Tailored to their lifestyle, Guided by you. My role is to support you with honest advice, compassionate care, and a partnership that grows with your pet.
